Easter Activities

LUMPKIN COUNTY, Ga.- This weekend is Easter and throughout the county, there will be many family-friendly egg hunts and services for the holiday.

Pop-Up Shop

Divine Delights is hosting an Easter Pop-up shop. There will be cookies, brownies, and decorated sugar cookies. The Easter Bunny will also be making a surprise visit. The event takes place on Saturday, Apr. 16 at 10:00 a.m. at 479 N Grove St, Dahlonega, GA 30533, United States.

Easter Sunday Brunch

Forrest Hills Mountain Resort is hosting a brunch in their new Secret Garden Dining Room on Sunday, Apr. 17 from 11:30 a.m to 2:00 p.m. Children 2 and under are free, children ages 3 to 10 are $12, and children 11 and up are $22.

There will be local beer, wines, and mimosas available. It is a first come first serve event. The Easter Bunny will be showing up around 1:00 p.m. so have your camera ready.

Easter Dinner

Montaluce Winery and Restaurant is hosting a dinner on Sunday. Apr. 17 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The menu is available on the website https://www.montaluce.com/. They require a $10 deposit for your reservation and it will be subtracted from your bill.

Community Easter Egg Hunt

R-Ranch is hosting an egg hunt at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Apr. 16. There will be a winning basket for each age group donated by Kinetic Windstream. Come early and help the Sheriff’s Office hide the eggs for the hunt.

Easter Sunrise Service

Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church is hosting a sunrise service at Woody Gap Recreation Area. This event will take place on Sunday, Apr. 17 at 8:00 a.m. It will be held at the top of Woody Gap.
