PRESS RELEASE – Arthur Sheehan is named as Lumpkin County Senior Center’s Volunteer of the Month for August!

Art has been sharing his time and talents with us since 2021. Twice a month, he brings energy, laughter, and connection as our bingo caller for congregate meal participants — and his smile is truly contagious!

Beyond bingo, Art is an active member of the Gold Country Squares group that meets at the center twice monthly, and each holiday season he dons the red suit as our beloved Mr. Claus for the Christmas luncheon. His dedication and generosity mean so much to our seniors.

As a token of our appreciation, we presented Art with a certificate, a Chick-fil-A gift (including three gift cards), and a jar of Georgia peach preserves with a postcard from the Dahlonega General Store.
