June 29, 2018 Lumpkin county, GA  The Lumpkin county Sheriff’s office has notified FYN regarding an inmate in their custody from the Lumpkin County Detention Center has escaped.  Last seen wearing an orange jumpsuit with handcuffs. Authorities are asking that you secure your homes and vehicles while they search for this inmate. If you see any suspicious activity, please call 911 immediately. We will update the community as we have information.
