Mrs. Anna Marie Seabolt, age 55, of Dahlonega passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018.

Anna was born in Gilmer County on July 15, 1963 to the late James Marvin and Bessie Lou Brown Tuggle.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hoyt Seabolt, brother James Tuggle, and sister Cindy Stancil.  Anna was employed at the University of North Georgia.  She was loved and adored by her University of North Georgia family and the basketball teams benefited greatly from her generosity with her homemade pecan pies.  Anna was outgoing and never met a stranger, whether she was talking to friends whom she had just met or friends she had known for a life time.  She worked at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant for some time and cared for all of the people that she served there.

Anna was a caregiver.  That was who she was in her heart.  She cared for her current in-laws while loving her children and grandchildren and she was very active in their lives.  Affectionately called “Nanny” by her grandchildren, Anna loved them unconditionally.  From baseball games to taking them on a vacation by herself, she was always a part of what her grandchildren were doing.  Anna was a loving mother and she always made sure her children were okay.  She had her own special way of checking on them.  One most recent proud moment of Anna’s life, just days before the Lord called her home, was seeing her youngest daughter graduate from the University of North Georgia.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years James Shoffeitt; daughter and son-in-law Misty and Morgan Caldwell; son and daughter-in-law Jeremy Seabolt and Genie Robertson; daughter Jordan Shoffeitt, all of Dahlonega; grandchildren Jordan Caldwell, Connor Caldwell, Noah Caldwell, and Tesha Robertson; brother and sister-in-law Mike and Debbie Tuggle, Cleveland; and brother Bobby Tuggle, Dahlonega.
