Lumpkin Co. Sheriff’s Office turns up heat on meth trafficking organization

LUMPKIN COUNTY, Ga. –The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO), has been conducting an extensive Drug Investigation into a Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO).

A previous press release on this Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO) was issued on 3/16/2020 and 5/18/2020. During the most recent part of this investigation 2 persons were arrested: Lisa Ann Andrews 35 years old, of Dahlonega and Jeremy Lee Ball 33 years old, an Inmate in Autry State Prison.

Both were charged with: Participation in criminal gang activity, Criminal Attempt to Trafficking Methamphetamine. Lisa Ann Andrews also had the charges of Trafficking Methamphetamine and sale of Methamphetamine.

There are more charges pending on these 2 persons. This is still an ongoing investigation, and more arrests will be forthcoming.
