The Lumpkin Co. Lady Indians defeated the Dawson Co. Lady Tigers 68-33 on Tuesday night in Dawsonville. The Lady Indians dominated the game on both ends of floor, hitting nine threes and recording 10 steals.

Sophomore Mary Mullinax led Lumpkin Co. with 21 points and seven rebounds. Senior Isabel Davenport also scored 20 points, and freshman Averie Jones scored 14 points.

Senior Maddie Anglin led the Lady Tigers with 15 points.

The Lady Indians only led 19-11 at the end of the first quarter. However, they opened the second quarter on an 8-0 run and never looked back.

The Lady Indians host the Gilmer Lady Bobcats this Friday at 6 p.m.
