Gold Rush Weekend

This weekend is Gold Rush, one of the busiest and most exciting weekends of the year here in Dahlonega! With thousands of visitors expected, residents and travelers alike should anticipate heavier traffic and increased foot traffic throughout town—especially around the square and surrounding roadways. Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use caution when driving or walking in congested areas. Our deputies will be out and about helping keep everyone safe, so we appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to ensure an enjoyable weekend for all.

NOTE: The roads on the square will be closed to traffic starting tonight at 6pm. Businesses will remain open through out the festival.
