Larson has served as a City Councilman since 2016, and in a recent social media post he announced, “I registered today to run for re-election to the Dahlonega City Council, Post #6. Larson is also a part-time lecturer at the University of North Georgia, in the Mike Cottrell College of Business Department of Management and Marketing, where he teaches management, ethics, and strategic

His extensive work experience includes serving as the manager of Achasta golf community, manager for The Lake Club at Reynolds Plantation, as well as several CFO positions, since 1981.

According to a press release from the Lumpkin County Water and Sewerage Authority,
“LCWSA experienced a water main break in the Crooked Creek Subdivision which caused a localized loss of system pressure. When this occurs a potential health hazard may exist in these areas of zero pressure from backflow of water of unknown quality into the water system. In order to protect the public from a potential health hazard, all Crooked Creek residents that live on High Creek Drive, White Oak Trail and Oak Springs Trail that have experienced a water outage and/or low pressures are advised to “boil” all water prior to use for drinking, cooking, or preparing baby food. The water should be boiled for at least one minute after reaching a rolling boil. Once LCWSA has tested the water and confirmed that the water in the distribution system is safe for human consumption, LCWSA will post a message on Lumpkin County’s Website and at High Creek Drive to notify the public that the boil water advisory has been lifted. The United States’ patience with Iran is up against some really bad behavior of late.
Last week, Iran bombed two oil tankers, one from Norway, one from Japan, all carrying oil to US allies.
They successfully shot down one US drone. They came very close to getting a rocket or two in their pockets. To his credit, Trump decided to practice strategy and now has them guessing.
Since the Shah of Iran passed in the 1970’s, we have struggled with Iran.
Our problem is not with the majority of her people, but with her radical religious leaders, and the fanatics they create.
Jimmy Carter was president when radical students took over the American Embassy, taking the staff hostage. They held the entire consulate staff for 444 days until Ronald Reagan took the presidency. The hostages were promptly let go, knowing that Reagan would never tolerate the situation.
Since Reagan, the policy has been strong financial and other sanctions against Iran.
Supposedly, the US does not negotiate with terrorists, or did we?
Ex-president Obama and John Kerry negotiated with Iran to release some of the financial sanctions that we have held against them in the horrible deal that President Trump withdrew from in May of 2018.
This agreement would have released 7 billion dollars over a period of time if they cooperate with the criteria set down by the US, et al.
Without the permission of Congress, then president Obama sent the rogue regime pallet of cash to the tune of 1.7 billion, plus 400 million in an initial settlement.
What exactly has Iran agreed to do?
According to Iran, they have really agreed to do nothing. They have agreed to dismantle nothing.
In fact, they touted a major win over the United States and her allies. They felt the deal had given in to their demands, not vice versa.
Since Iran is the leading exporter of terror and terrorists, what did the 1.7 billion dollars buy?
That kind of money seriously financed many more terror cells and terrorists, such as Hamas and Hezbollah, already known to be on Iran’s payroll. Not to mention buy more nuclear materials and scientists to enrich them to weapons grade.
Now, they are desperate for money to continue to fund their terrorist cells, while they still quest for a nuclear weapon.
New sanctions under the Trump administration are really cramping their cash flow. This week, President Trump put PERSONAL sanctions on Rouhani, Iran’s religious leader. His assets have now been frozen.
Rouhani and his followers are invested in the hatred of the US and Israel.
The people chant “Death to America.”
Isn’t it time to listen to what this nation is saying?
They lust to wipe Israel out. They threaten her daily.
Why do the European Allies cling to the original deal to give Iran everything they want without much in return? Is it just for the oil, or something more?
Germany is in Russia’s pocket for a pipeline, another deal that will most likely end in tears.
If this train wreck of an agenda thrives in Europe, they will regret it as well.
Iran is a loose cannon, and thankfully, this administration is treating it accordingly.

“Breaking News:” John Kasich, the unemployed former Governor of Ohio has signed on with CNN as a political commentator. Now, how can that possibly be “breaking news?” CNN has morphed from a news agency into the Current Narrative Network for advancing Democrat propaganda that few people seriously watch for any reason except for laughs. The reason is that John needs a platform if he seriously wants to stand for President against Donald Trump.
The governor himself has become something short of a laughing stock simply because he insists on nursing the mad dream of becoming the neoconservative president of America. Going to CNN will not advance his cause. His daily struggle to convince us that Trump still remains a danger to America, and he could do better as the President, is a pipe-dream.
Kasich, once a congressman, is a product of the old Wash. DC world of ‘go along to get along,’ politics of comity with your enemies through bipartisanship, hands across the aisle, consensus on policy (so long as it’s socialist), that sort of thing. Kasich’s had his shot. He left the DC Swamp to become Governor of Ohio figuring that was his best chance of achieving his dream. As he lost to Trump (4th place), does his opinion even count any more? Neo-Conservatism was voted out of the Republican Party with Trumps election and John Kasich ain’t going to bring it back. To maintain a public platform for airing his opinions, only CNN, and maybe MSNBC, remain to fulfill his mad dreams and, will, who really cares?
This is Kasich’s official internet announcement: “We are excited about what this means for Gov. Kasich and his growing ability to weigh-in on the issues that Americans care about. We expect to see him continue calling on Washington to end the non-stop politicking an actually do something to offer real solutions to America’s challenges. What’s our (t)ask today? It’s simple. With more interviews comes more things to share and grow Gov. Kasich’s message and audience,” followed by the standard plea for a donation. I’ll give John an ‘A’ for Attempting, but now, he should just go away, he’s out of the game and his time is up!
Pelosi and Schumer, Harry Reid before them, John Boehner and Paul Ryan, like Kasich, are all products of that once elite social club of poor politicians turned rich by the longevity of their political service. Then came Trump and the whole fabric of political comity has been ripped asunder.
Despite his dreams, John can’t fix his damaged image, the one Trump gave him on the debate stage in 2016. He can bloviate his opinions on CNN until he actually becomes one of them, a socialist in name as well as deed but, he hazards his integrity to continue this career path if it’s only a job he needs.
If viewers of CNN are expected to waste their time considering John’s opinion, then they can watch any of the talking heads on CNN. They don’t need John Kasich. CNN needs Kasich because for them, he is the once enemy who has seen the light and will become their useful idiot. For the anti-Trump CNN, having an alleged Republican fall into their hands like a ripe banana, is pure gold. Of course they’ll give him as much free airtime as he needs to challenge Donald Trump in 2020. Kasich will serve as a leftist pawn, his persona trapped in the mire of their progressive (socialist) dogma. John will die there, lost but not forgotten. A pity!

The bitter vitriol that was the funeral of Senator John McCain was a celebration of the
coming together of all Trump haters and bashing him in a second-hand swipe disguised as
eulogies.
Most likely, Senator McCain, would have enjoyed the day and approved the tone of his last
hurrah.
His daughter, Meghan McCain, spewed out the most acerbic comment of all taking aim at the
agenda and good works of the President.
“America has no need to be made great again because America has always been great.”
Yes, Meghan, America is great, has always been great, but the last decade has seen her decline in
economics, morality, manufacturing, trade deficits, crime, immigration issues and available jobs
at a living wage.
Now, it stands to reason that the very wealthy felt no more than a bump or two in the road during
the Great Recession of 2008.
Meghan McCain would be one of those fortunate enough to avoid financial crisis. That comes
from having a senator father, a Navel admiral grandfather and great-grandfather.
The family compound in Arizona is well known, and doors will open for an educated young
woman with the surname of McCain or Clinton.
The others who joined in the drive-by criticism included former presidents Bush and Obama,
along with members of high rank from within their previous administrations.
Again, the Great Recession and Financial Crisis did little to their portfolio, and America
remained great to them as well, at least in their financial quality of life. In fact, they probably
came out somewhat ahead.
(Even though Michelle Obama was never proud of her country until her husband ran for the
presidency, and most of the speakers who have held power seem to have some sort of disdain for
America, its values and its citizens. Not only are we deplorable, now Joe Biden has called up the
dregs of society.)
Many may not know that in 2008 Henry Paulson, then Treasury Secretary and former Goldman –
Sachs CEO, got together for a little “heads up” for his former Goldman – Sachs colleagues and
some other Wall Street and hedge fund managers. Prior to the crash, he let them know that they
needed to move and protect their investments and clients because the financial collapse was
about to happen.
Thanks man, insider trading is great when you are tipped off. Though this happens all the time, it
is barely legal and the average layperson would probably go to jail over it.
People like my neighbor who had worked at one company since he was eighteen and lost ninety
thousand dollars out of his 401K because of the 2008 financial crisis.
Ninety thousand dollars is peanuts to the people Paulson tipped off, but it is everything to a
working person who has labored to contribute to the fund that is to take care of them through
retirement. Had he been the beneficiary of this inside news, he could have moved his savings to a
safe, insured bank account with minimal interest, but the principal could have stayed intact.
How about the ones that lost their homes due to the real estate bubble. The average person didn’t
know it was about to pop, but insiders did. Those whose wealth was protected benefitted
tremendously from the foreclosure fiasco. They gobbled up homes at bargain prices, shifting the
wealth of home equity from a working family to another rich person’s pocket.
What about unemployment?
The unemployment rate was high in 2008 and 2009. Jobs left the country, businesses cut
employees and there was little to no money for the average person. In a consumer-driven
economy, that is bad news.
While I am firmly for capitalism, and I abhor those who want to complain that the “man” has
held them down for one reason or another, and they didn’t have a chance to succeed.
This crisis was orchestrated by the “powers that be” for the largest transfer of wealth in the
history of the United States. It was designed to destroy the middle-class working person and
create a two class society. Those that have and those who have not.
The thing that has always made America great is the opportunity for ANYONE to succeed if
they work hard enough.
I worked for a man who emigrated from Cuba during Castro’s rise to power. He came to the
United States with fifty dollars, a wife and a baby. He and his wife worked tirelessly and built a
successful business. He was the most adamant US patriot and always advised us to never let the
government take the people’s guns. Castro did that and the people were left defenseless to his
rule.
Another example was a man who came here from Bulgaria. He told me that if he could come
here with limited money, not much English and make a living, there was no reason why a person
who was brought up here, had all the free schooling and a great command of the language
couldn’t succeed.
I couldn’t agree more, however, when the jobs are gone, how is a person to work.
The two administrations before President Trump are the reason that the sixty million deplorable
voters put him in the White House.
The elected officials had shown little regard for their constituents and did more for themselves
than anyone else.
In answer to Meghan McCain’s vengeful tirade, you are your father’s daughter and no one is
surprised at your lack of class. Your actions say much more about you than our President.
Short Takes – Does Hollywood Matter Any More?

Apparently, the Tony award’s were on last night. I didn’t know. It was in todays news when it was revealed once again, that the IQ level of actor Robert DeNiro, who publicly expressed his deep level of disdain, or rather his hatred for President Donald Trump, hadn’t changed.
When a celebrity uses only base rhetoric to express an opposing political opinion, such as using the one word that best describes one of life’s more pleasurable functions betweens the sex’s, as a statement of fact, then we have achieved the collapse of polite discourse and the sure sign that DeNiro’s “Peter Principal” level has been reached. DeNiro has achieved his highest level of intellectual attainment, a triumph of idiocy over debate. To the cheering Hollywood crowd, his word is final, but nobody really cares anymore, do they? Now, it’s only a news item.
The world is focusing on historic events: the just concluded G-7 Trade summit, the ludicrous after Trump statement by Canadian Premier Trudeau, the land creation going on in Hawaii and the land melting event in Guatemala, not to mention President Trumps mission to Singapore for a singular historic event, the first ever summit meeting between a North Korean despot, Kim Jung Un, and the President of the United States, and we are favored with DeNiro’s opinion.
We are in a whirl of world shaping news events to the point we almost can’t keep up and an aging pretty good movie actor, DeNiro, of no specific intellectual achievement, chooses a medium most Americans have stopped viewing, award shows, to offer up once again his learned opinion on the President of the United States.
What DeNiro reinforced by his tirade was that the Hollywood of today is no longer important except as a money raising machine for Democrats. Hollywood is disappearing, much of it having moved right here to Georgia. Most Americans already know what DeNiro thinks about conservative politics and it’s newest spokesman, Donald Trump, so we can safely ignore it.
What hurts most is the wild cheering by attendees applauding DeNiro’s version of the “truth” as DeNiro so cunningly expressed it. Some call the actor an “outspoken critic” of Trump, and he is but, who cares anymore? DeNiro can never speak his opinion without employing the lowest level of his rhetorical skills, using the “F___” word again and again. Maybe it’s his highest level.
These seemingly constant televised award shows by the entertainment industry patting itself on the back, have morphed into political action exercises by the Left to confirm their anti-American, anti-conservative and pro-Clinton opinions. They do it in the certain belief that simply because they have achieved celebrity or get a nomination to receive a silly trophy that has to be dusted once a week, that their opinion really matters. That is a delusional level above which people with excessively highly developed egos, like movie actors, rarely advance. The odd man out of course, is Donald Trump. His ego is his driving force and achievement, its reward.
Hollywood once expressed America’s culture in great movies; the culture that defeated the Nazi’s, the Japanese and later, economically, the Soviets. That’s the culture that drew thousands of intelligent immigrants to our shores to become Americans, not the culture of Hollywood today, demanding social changes Trump won’t give them. Theirs is the culture of political correctness, profane ideas and nasty words. Theirs is the culture of sexual exclusivity, diversity, inclusion, glorifying sodomites and multiculturalism, the direct antithesis of Americanism. Trump has changed the formula for success and they can’t stand it.

Opinion May 21, 2018I never cease to be amazed at the crap the media feeds us including the opinions of journalists just barely able to peel bananas with their hands.The otiose schemes the deranged Left keeps pushing is the political danger to Pres. Trump should he fires Mueller. Oh, the humanity of it!
Well, let’s get on with it; watch where the smoke comes from then put out the fire. This wasted, year long Mueller drama which all but indites Hillary Clinton and her coterie of conspirators in the DOJ, the FBI, the IRS and the State Dept. as the true criminals, needs to be resolved and soon. The patience of the American voters who put Trump in office is growing thin. They will not abandon Trump when the real problems are so clear. Heads must roll and then we can heal the wounds,and work to return to a true constitutional republic like the founders envisioned.
“Is their a constitutional confrontation in the offing?” asks one headline. The article posits the notion that Mueller is nearly omnipotent in fighting crime and or evil and has the power and authority like a Grand Wizard, to demand the President of the United States present himself before a Grand Jury, presumably to arrange his public execution by burning at the stake. Right!
The article allows that the President has some outs like any other citizen, such as invoking his 5th amendment rights; that he can simply remove the Deputy. AG, who hired Mueller after Jeff Sessions abdicated his responsibility, daring to face the slings and arrows, that will come or, he could simply swat the Mueller nuisance away, de-fund the investigation and move on, a proposal most Americans really want. It reminds us that the president is not “above the law” but fails to warn us that Hillary Clinton, the corrupt James Comey, Loretta Lynch, et. al., are above the law. “Oh, the harm it would do to the FBI’s reputation..& etc., etc.” Well, the top management has been exposed as a nest of vipers and does need to be cleaned out, the sooner the better.
We know that the Supreme Court ruled that Nixon, who did have tapes and records, had to produce them as physical evidence. What does Trump have to produce he hasn’t already freely given? Nothing, so the hunt goes on until they find something. They can forget any more Stormy Daniels stories. No body cares. Bill Clinton saw to that. That’s old news. The issue behind the issues here is that the Democrats have no issues they can convince Americans to embrace other than the Obama socialist disaster that Trump is now happily discarding. They can run on no other issue except “hate Trump” because he beat ‘em soundly, leaving them bereft of power and like Biblical Moses, wandering aimlessly in the Sinai. Listening to the morose former House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi is evidence enough of that.
It’s in their best interests to attack Trump, in fact it’s their only interest if they dream of ever recapturing the Congress again but, I suspect “dreams” are not policies. Democrat dreams cannot possibly move or replace Trumps successes like his tax cuts, killing the regulation state, his rising employment and GDP numbers and low unemployment rates, ripping America away from stupid trade deals that have hurt us, and ignoring the pseudo science environmental nonsense that the left believes will empower them to create their ‘dreamed’ one world order to save the planet. More importantly, he’s not afraid to face off Iran, which is facing its own internal problems, and the North Korean dingbat who pushed himself onto the world stage as a nuclear competitor and now can’t let go. Trump, the protagonist, has challenged them all and they react as he has expected them to. The Democrats are in disarray, Iran has squandered the billions Obama gave him and are almost broke and Kim is in fear of losing it all by his over extension.

One must ask why it is assumed that the logical candidate to replace a conservative office holder, must be a Democrat? The plethora of campaign appeals from loser Democratic PAC’s, for donations to combat those dangerous, misguided Republicans, claim in the text of their appeals, that Trumps election was an aberration and that American’s really demand that Democrats be returned to power because that awful Trump is so divisive & etc., etc.!
Well, no, they assume incorrectly! The vote for Donald Trump signaled the beginning of the end of official criminality, Obama’s terrible legacy and, expectantly, an end to the Democrats Marxist-Socialist experiment in collectivist government.
The Left ignores the reasoning that got them in their present unhappy circumstance in the first place. The voters didn’t want a third Obama term. The voters didn’t want that crooked Hillary Clinton screwing up America any more and, Americans really expect justice to be served for her crimes. Americans once assumed the FBI could be trusted implicitly. The Clinton’s ruined all that. The FBI is now wreathed in controversy, infested with Clinton partisans and politically, stand on the wrong side of Constitutionality earning the same level of trustworthiness as aluminum siding or Obamacare salesmen. Once lost, trust cannot be reinstated without pain.
The Left is mounting an all out assault on Donald Trump on their assumption that his Presidency is illegitimate. But the underlying issues that motivated voters to elect Trump are ignored. Americans don’t want to share bathrooms with perverts. Americans are sick and tired of illegal alien intruders breaking into our country, protected by Renegade Cities and murdering Americans on the streets with impunity. That includes Islam. Americans are dismayed by the stupid Liberals driving our government into unbearable debt. Americans are saddened by the less than adequate quality of graduates being turned out by Commie infested colleges and universities and Americans are exhausted from the tax burden that pays for everything except our national defense. They’re tired of unaffordable healthcare and being told they had to buy it regardless. All that is what the Democrats did to us and will do to us again in the future if Donald Trump fails. Now why would they assume we could possibly want democrats in power again? Their message is the same one they’ve used for decades and it still rings hollow!
Americans voted for Donald Trump because he promised solutions and, ‘surprise,’ he’s delivering. The Left is going berserk trying to change the results of the election that gave us Donald Trump. We’ve had nearly a year of Progressive generated crisis’s all centered around a fake Democrat created narrative about Trump and the Russians, ignoring greedy Clinton’s own collusion evidence with the Russians. Nothing was proved, yet it’s still droning on. So, why do Democrats assume that we would even tolerate them in office any more? Do you?
The Democrat Party is leaderless. The only solid front presented to us in the Congress is when the aging and demented Nancy Pelosi and the feckless Chuck Schumer grab the podium and spew out their fear mongering claims that Republican policies will lead to Armageddon, ‘women and children to be hardest hit.’ What’s to replace the ranks of geriatric Democrat leadership in the future? Anarchists, Islamics, and antifa’s, all now learning their trade on our streets today, like the Clintons did back in the 1960’s. Now is the time to stick a fork in ‘em. They’re done or should be. Sadly, Republicans won’t do it. They’re still afraid of wielding the power we gave ‘em.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA), a member of the Senate Budget Committee, released the following statement after the U.S. Senate moved one step closer to fixing our tax code this year:
“Let’s be very clear. This budget is a sham and the entire budget process is a fraud being perpetrated on the American people. Only four times in the past 43 years has the budget process fully worked to fund the government on time. The only reason we’re even doing the budget like this is to get tax done this year.
“In the middle of the dog-and-pony show tonight there was a glimmer of hope. Senator Whitehouse and I teamed up to author a bipartisan amendment to acknowledge our frustration with the budget process and the need to fix it. The U.S. Senate agreed unanimously that the budget process is broken. Getting the entire U.S. Senate, both Republicans and Democrats, to acknowledge the futility of the current budget process and the political side shows that come with it, is a step in the right direction. We need to fix this.
“It is all related. In order for the federal government to have the ability to act on our national priorities, we must solve the debt crisis. To solve the debt crisis, we have to fix our budget process. Job one is getting the economy going, and the economy will move if we get this tax deal done. It’s as simple as that.”

Can Gun Violence be Controlled?
This business about free Americans owning guns, it seems, is not going away. The overwrought, dysfunctional left simply won’t let it go using any opportunity to try to seize our guns. “Never let a crisis go to waste” has long been their motto. The Las Vegas massacre is the current issue they hang their hats on to pursue their primary objective, the total disarming of America, the 2nd Amendment be damned. “People are dying by guns; only total confiscation can stop the carnage; nullify the 2nd Amendment, etc. & etc….”
The Las Vegas shooting is still on the minds of most Americans and will be for awhile because it involved guns in the hands of a white male. As no connection to any conservative group has been reported by the media, it therefore follows that the Mandalay shooter must have been a registered Democrat. If he wasn’t, the Alt-media would have never let us forget it.
To the “Left” guns, legally in the hands of free, independent Americans, is the worst possible thing that they can imagine. But, crime statistics do not support the Left’s claims of a vast count of criminal deaths by guns. No matter, because statistics that do not support their positions are irrelevant, lies made up by the NRA. One third of all gun deaths are suicides. Most of the rest are murders in Chicago, Baltimore, LA, and other urban centers of cultural enlightenment.
The rush to legislate guns by ignorant politicians, exclusively Democrats, constitutes their perennial assault on our Constitution, especially the 2nd amendment. The 2nd Amendment gives American citizens the right to possess firearms. The Left contends that our Founders simply could not foresee advancements in modern technology. They claimed that arguments today about why the Founders considered gun possession as a right enshrined in the Bill of Rights, don’t apply by today’s standards. Nonsense! They apply because of today’s standards.
In Colonial America, citizens had to have guns to defend themselves as well as provide meat for the table. The founders knew government couldn’t defend citizens from robbers, thieves and hostile Indians. Governments charge was, and still is, to defend America from foreign attack. Otherwise, you’re basically on your own. So, what’s changed?
What they do not consider is that while firearms existed in the 1700’s and on, so did vehicle’s, hammers, hatchets and axes. It was the black powder gun and the horse drawn wagon that experienced a rapid change by technology but, it was only firearms that were protected by the Constitution as an “inalienable right.” Vehicles hatchets, and hammers were not. Why?
How many murders are occurring today using vehicles? Enough to give us pause when we go out, yet there is no outrage from the Left. More people are murdered yearly with hammers than are killed by guns. Should the left demand that government totally confiscate hammers?
What’s is not seen in our press are the almost daily reports of murderous atrocities committed by Islamic Jihadists against host country citizens throughout Europe, and even here in America and Canada, using knives, cars and home made bombs.
Are Americans becoming immune to gun violence? Can we trust Government to protect us when we need them, like ‘right now’ for instance? We know the answer to that. Of course not. So, keep your guns clean, keep ‘em oiled and keep ‘em legal. The “Left”, they are out to get us!

Transportation Woes
Leave it to the media to anathematize Trump and Conservatism using any issues that flies by.
The media has become so unscrewed by their hatred of President Trump that, like the NFL, they don’t really see or understand what they are continuing to do to themselves, further tarnish their credibility and diminish their brand name. Now it’s private airplane flights by Tom Price, H&HS Secretary, doing his job that they are attacking. I don’t care.
That Sec. Price used, or had to use, a private conveyance to do his job is a symptom of a problem, not the problem. He asked for and received permission to book his flights so I don’t understand the media’s outrage. The media didn’t express outrage when our Royal Princess, Nancy Pelosi demanded and got, befitting her elitist station, a large Air Force plane to convey her back and forth non-stop to San Francisco every week when she was House Speaker. The media didn’t go berserk when Attorney General Loretta Lynch secretly booked a private plane for her flight to Arizona where incidentally, she accidentally met former president Bill Clinton, also there in his private airplane, to discuss golf and grandchildren. By the way, she doesn’t play golf and has no grandchildren.
The dysfunctional but Progressively obedient media fended off complaints when Obama flew to Hawaii aboard his presidential yacht, a huge fuel consuming 747 costing millions, several times a year not to mention all the other pleasure and campaign flights he took in it. The eight year bill for his highness’s pleasure must have been stupendous but nobody in the media was outraged. Clearly, to do so would have been racist. For Tom Price, it’s “white privilege.”
We haven’t heard one word about the private travel expenses of Obama’s many Czar’s, Department Secretaries, administrators and etc. during the eight years of gracious living they all enjoyed but, one Trump official doing his job, using the most expedient method to do so, and the Leftist media goes completely berserk.
For the media their problem remains. They can sling all the offal their dirty little hands can hold against the wall but nothing sticks because nobody believes ‘em anymore. In fact, nobody really cares because American’s voted in Donald Trump as President and no attack against him, coming from the media’s organs of Leftist propaganda, even from the rear against his appointees, is going to change that.
Every department in the Federal Govt. has a Transportation office. It’s sole reason to exist is to find the least expensive mode of transportation for government officials needing do their job in the most expeditious manner possible. Mostly, almost exclusively in fact, US Commercial Carriers are used for that purpose. Abroad, foreign carriers are authorized as needed.
In order to get that authorization for government travel, temporary duty (TDY) orders have to be cut authorizing the expense, including overnight accommodations. If the overnight is spent on a military installation, including Aircraft Carriers at sea, it still costs money and must be budgeted for. Nothing is free and nobody gets a free ride. It only has to be justified.
Travel expenses are all budgeted a year or more in advance and usually causes no problems. Upon completion of the travel, the official traveler submits a detailed expense voucher, with receipts as necessary, detailing the travel and the expense involved. In the case of Tom Price, some aide is responsible for this task. I used the term TDY, and that’s military jargon so I don’t know exactly how H&HS does it, but, there are only so many dollars budgeted per year for travel and it must be accounted for. The Mean Stream Media doesn’t report those little details. I have no clue how the Obama administration and Hillary did it, but I suspect like everything else they touch, some skullduggery was involved. It’s just a job. The media should get over it.

The decline of America’s two political parties is not a surprise. They have cheated America’s voters leaving them searching for Constitutional alternatives. The GOP’s abdication of its conservative principles presents a signal problem that can no longer be ignored; problems that voters saw coming and attempted to fix in 2012, 2014 and 2016, without success, is evidence enough that the GOP is broken and represents nobody except themselves. They don’t want to do anything lest they rock the boat and lose favor with their money suppliers and the media. The GOP has clearly abdicated its role as America’s conservative party. In other words, there isn’t one any more. They GOP elites didn’t get the message.
The Marxist controlled Democrat party holds no effective power in government except to act as obstructionists. Their leadership is composed of geriatric, old Marxists and Progressives, products of the 1960’s anti-Vietnam war era, still searching for the magic formula that will enable them to complete their socialization America, interrupted by Donald Trump. Count them gone.
For Conservatives, the Republican party has long claimed they held the key to salvation until we learned, and are still learning, that they are in fact liars, cheats and shills for big government and the cash that flows from it. There are some serious exceptions like David Perdue, Tom Cotton, Mike Lee and maybe even Tom Cruz. The party has more than its share of treacherous villains like the unprincipled John McCain and feckless leftist, Susan Collins among others, who join the Democrats in obstructing the Conservative agenda, that Donald Trump seized and gave voice to the deep concerns of many Americans about the direction the socialists were taking America.
How do we solve the problem? A new party? Nope! No matter what it’s called a new party will simply not work. The Libertarians have been out there for years and have not advanced above the popularity level they first achieved since the beginning. I agree they are Constitutional conservatives, with exceptions, and it’s those exceptions that have them stalled in third place.
The only course available for conservative Republicans, independents and Democrats alarmed at the deceit of the Ruling Caste, is to replace the old GOP, member by member, in primary challenges by conservative candidates until the whole rotten GOP house of cards collapses.
Why? Because that’s where the money is. That’s where the donations come to, that’s the crucible of corruption, that’s the seat of power and that’s the swamp Trump wants to drain. It must be done and it can’t be done from outside. The formation of new parties with their petty individual demands, would turn America into a squabbling cacophony of incompetent, third rate politicians, a mirror image example of the socialist European Union, especially Germany.
Conservative Americans want a return of their personal liberty and respect for their individual achievements. The GOP is not giving it, but Trump is. He has identified several issues that will restore those lost liberties: eliminating Obama’s regulatory state, cutting taxes, creating jobs, enforcing immigration laws, and attempting to fix the Republican healthcare fiasco. Trump is trying to reshape policy in these areas, as Americans want. Apparently the GOP won’t help but insist that they, acting as our ruling class, are too important to be removed.
Trump’s success will positively impact America for generations to come. Can there be a constitutional renewal in America? Not if our betters have anything to say about it. It’s time to replace them. We can start by re registering as Independents. Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (25Sep17)
